Four tools become one tab.

Line Notes replaces the spiral pad, the highlighter, the post-show email, and the spreadsheet you use to distribute notes the next morning.

01

Drop the script.

Upload any text-based PDF. Line Notes auto-extracts speakers, stage directions, music lines, and clickable line zones page by page. Hand-correct anything in the Script Editor.

02

Click during the run.

Hit Start. Tap any line. Pick a cast member, pick a type, type optional context. Two seconds, eyes back on stage. F1–F4 set the type without leaving the keyboard.

03

Send to the right actor.

Every note belongs to a cast member. After the run, send each actor only their notes, by email or printable PDF. No manual sorting at midnight.

04

Cues in the margin.

LX, SQ, fly, and follow-spot cues live as inline pills on the script itself. Standby states surface to the right rail. Your call sheet and your line notes stop disagreeing.

This isn't a screenshot.

The frame below is the actual Run Show interface, running on this page. Click any line in the script to log a note. The cast list, notes panel, session timer, and statistics all stay in sync as you work.

Try it:  click any italic line in the script. | Press 14 in the popover to pick a type. | Click a cast member to filter the notes list.

Asked at every load-in.

Will it work on the house Mac mini in the booth?

Anything that runs a recent Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox. The UI is tuned for dim houses and is fully keyboard-driven. No install.

What if the venue Wi-Fi drops mid-run?

Line Notes keeps writing locally and syncs when the connection returns. The heartbeat dot turns red, you keep tapping, nothing is lost.

Can my ASMs and director see notes in real time?

Yes. Invite anyone with their email; they join with read or write permissions. Every note appears on every device within 200ms.

What about scanned PDFs from a stage rental?

You can draw line zones manually in the Script Editor and still get the full Run Show flow. OCR for scanned scripts is on the roadmap.

Why not just use a shared Google Doc?

Notes in Line Notes are anchored to a line, an actor, a session, and a type. That structure is what lets us route Jonas's drops to Jonas, in two clicks, without you reading the doc back through.

Can I export my data?

Every run produces a PDF report and a JSON export. Productions, zones, and notes are downloadable any time, no email required.

Curtain in three hours.

Your first production is free. Setup takes under twenty minutes.
